How TrendFalcon uses TikTok data

TrendFalcon only uses aggregate hashtag data: hashtag names, ranks, post and view totals and, where supplied, aggregate audience or region figures. It does not offer “Sign in with TikTok”, does not connect visitors’ TikTok accounts and does not collect anyone’s TikTok profile or videos.

A. Public Creative Center hashtag preview (live)

A scheduled collector reads the logged-out public hashtag preview for the UK, Germany and the US. It uses no account, cookies or login. The preview is a small, incomplete sample; displayed posts and views are approximate. These records are labelled “Public website preview”.

B. TikTok API for Business hashtag discovery (awaiting approval)

The intended long-term source is the official Business API discovery endpoints. Any business or advertiser authorization is handled by the operator during setup, never by website visitors. This source stays switched off until access is approved and the returned fields are verified. Its records will be labelled “Approved API”.

How to read the numbers

• Views are not unique people.
• Totals for a rolling period are kept separate from lifetime totals; a change in a rolling total is not automatically new posts.
• Rank is a position in the provider’s list, not an interest score.
• Missing values are shown as unavailable, never as zero.
• Country is the provider’s filter, not a verified audience location.
