Privacy information
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Axel Ryttberg, an individual in Sweden who operates TrendFalcon. Privacy questions and requests: contact@trendfalcon.se. No login is needed to make a request.
What is processed, why, and on what legal basis
- Workspace account and login (email address, account ID, sign-in sessions, password-reset emails). Purpose: giving the operator access to the private workspace. Basis: legitimate interest in securing the service (GDPR art. 6.1 f).
- Notes and watchlists written in the workspace. Purpose: research. Basis: legitimate interest.
- Emails to contact@trendfalcon.se (your address and message). Purpose: answering you and handling requests. Basis: legitimate interest, or legal obligation for privacy requests (art. 6.1 c).
- Server and security logs (for example IP address, time and request details) kept by the hosting providers. Purpose: running and protecting the service. Basis: legitimate interest.
- Aggregate hashtag and search-trend data (hashtag names, ranks, counts, search terms). This is generally not personal data. If public personal information is ever received (for example a name in a hashtag), it is still personal data and is handled under legitimate interest in trend research.
Recipients
- Lovable, which hosts the website and its backend (login and database).
- STRATO, which provides the contact@trendfalcon.se mailbox.
- UpCloud, which hosts the operator’s data-collection server.
Data is not sold. No data is shared with advertisers.
Where data is stored and transfers
The workspace database is hosted in the EU. Some providers or their subprocessors may process data outside the EU/EEA; where that happens, it relies on the provider’s own safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses). This is still being reviewed, so TrendFalcon does not claim that all processing stays in the EU.
How long data is kept
Specific storage periods have not been set yet. Until they are, data is kept until the operator deletes it or you ask for deletion. Copies may exist in provider backups and on the collection server. No automatic deletion is promised.
Browser storage
The site stores your sign-in session and some screen preferences (and, in the demo, sample notes and watchlists) in your browser’s local storage. These are needed for the site to work. There are no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. If any are added in the future, your consent will be asked first.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and ask for data portability. Email contact@trendfalcon.se; requests are handled manually and answered within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
