Precision and limitations

Units stay as measured

Google search interest is indexed 0–100 and labelled that way, never as a number of searches. Views, likes, comments and shares are shown as the counts the platform returns.

Lower bounds

Traffic bands such as “500+” are approximate lower bounds. They are plotted as thresholds and never used to compute percentage change.

Missing data

Missing values remain missing and appear as gaps. Zero is shown only when a source reports zero. A topic leaving a feed does not mean interest fell to zero.

Movement

Momentum is calculated only between compatible observations (same unit, market and window, with a non-zero baseline). Otherwise the dashboard shows “Not enough comparable history”.

What is not provided

No forecasts, sentiment scores, buying-intent estimates or guarantees. Attention is not sales demand.
